Augusta's First Take Film Festival

Mayor Deke Copenhaver will announced the First Take Film Festival Wednesday, April 1 at 10am in the Mayor’s Office. This year, the film festival will take place downtown, April 9th – April 11th at the Imperial Theatre in Augusta, GA.The film festival will showcase short films and features, including premiers, narratives and documentaries.

Founder and president Gregory Glover, an Augusta native states, “We’ve set up the schedule so golf fans can enjoy the tournament and still enjoythe festival. Augusta residents can enjoy the festival during the hours of the tournament. We have something for everyone.”
